We are honored to introduce Gift for Educators, Brevard County’s newest 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting neurodiverse individuals - especially those with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and related conditions - along with the educators, families, and caregivers who support them.
Our mission is to foster connection, provide essential resources, and create an inclusive space where neurodiverse minds are celebrated. Through workshops, classes, practical information, and a welcoming sensory-friendly environment, we aim to ensure no one navigates this journey alone.
We warmly invite you to the grand opening of our sensory-friendly community center and Autism Community Thrift Store in downtown Melbourne on April 2, 2026 - World Autism Acceptance Day, launching Acceptance Month. This hub will offer guidance for families, tools for educators, and a supportive space for connection and inclusion.
Our thrift store features gently used donated items and specialized products, with every purchase supporting our programs - including a fully equipped professional sensory room designed to provide calming support for those who need it.
We believe neurodiversity is a gift deserving recognition, understanding, and celebration. Together, we can help build a Brevard where inclusion is the norm and everyone belongs.
Please explore our website to learn more about our programs, events, volunteering, or ways to help support our sensory room.
With gratitude and excitement,
Dianne Zaccheo, MSW, LCSW, FTC
